Riley is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where he studied Accounting. In 2017, after several years reconciling accounts and posting to the general ledger, he took U-turn and went to Orange Country Code School in Newport Beach, CA where he spent 3 months learning modern web development skills and patterns. Since then, Riley has worked at several Southern California startups using JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, Python, and Golang. He enjoys fresh-brewed coffee, Netflix, golf and anything science-related.
